Step-by-step tutorial including cooperation of different roles in Perun.
PERUN ADMIN role needed
- Create Facility (if it is already created skip this step)
- If you aren't perun admin. Send an email to perun@cesnet.cz with name and type of the facility and technical contact for this facility, for example: type: cluster, name: mycluster.com, contact: mycluster.com helpdesk - helpdesk@mycluster.com. Perun admin creates facility and entitle you as manager of it. Other settings concerning the facility, as description, technical owner, number of nodes..., you can set yourself as FACILITY MANAGER.
FACILITY MANAGER role needed
- Setup services on the Facility
- Go to Facility manager menu, select facility
- Click on the row with name of facility
- Go to Services setings tab
- uncheck "offer available only" button (because you probably don't have any active resources and services yet)
- select service and fill required data
- Go to Services Destinations tab and add Destination (i.e. where should be the configuration for service propagated to, usually hostname of the host.)
- Create resource for VO
- Now select service(s) which you provides for the VO via this resource.
- select service from Selected services list-box (don't set check-box Show assigned)
- Use Assign service to resource to assign services
- Use Assign group to resource for assigning of groups
ssh keys root
Use first two steps described upper this chapter:
- Create Facility
- Setup services on the Facility
- Setup destinations ( as FACILITY MANAGER)
- Go to Services Destinations tab and add Destination for service sshkeys_root (i.e. where should be the configuration for service propagated to, usually hostname of the host.)
- Setup destinations ( as FACILITY MANAGER)
- Use Assign service to resource to assign services
- Use Assign group to resource for assigning of groups
- After successfull propagation of service sshkeys_root (which will be started automatically) users should have access to root acount on the host(s).
