Assign group to resource

VO MANAGER role needed

• Please log in into the Perun system and then go to the VO Manager section.
• On the left panel please click on Select VO. Now you can see the list of the VOs under your administration.
• Please choose the desired VO, where would you like to add group to resource. There will appear a new panel with the VO settings.

• there are two ways how to assign group to resource
  • click on the button Groups at upper bar OR click on the Groups option at the left menu
  • click on the row with name of required group and detail of this group is displayed

• • press the button Resources at upper bar OR click on the Resources option at the left menu
  • click on the button Add... and list of resources for adding is displayed

• • select required resource (or resources) by ticking check-box, press the button Add and required group is assigned with required resource
  • ...................OR.....................
  • click on the button Resources at upper bar OR click on the Resources option at the left menu

• • click on the row with selected resource

• • click on the button Assigned groups and list of recently assigned groups is displayed
  • press the button Add... to display list of groups offered to assign

• • select required group (or groups) by ticking check-box, press the button Add and required group is assigned with required resource
  • Remark:you can use button Filter to find group you want to add

• Please choose the desired VO, where would you like to assign group to resource. There will appear a new panel with the VO settings.

• click on the button Groups at upper bar OR click on the Groups option at the left menu
• click on the row with name of required group and detail of this group is displayed
• press the button Resources at upper bar OR click on the Resources option at the left menu

• click on the button Add... and list of resources for adding is displayed

• insert name of tag which you want to use into filter area and click on the button Filter - tagged resources only are listed (currently only computational node and storage tags are available)

• by ticking upper check-box mark all listed resources, press the button Add and required group is assigned with all tagged resources

• list of assigned resources is dispayed under selection area

• click on Close button to finish adding of resources
